Essential Information

What's the Pier Membership? 

Initiated from January 1st 1999, any angler wishing to fish from the Admiralty Pier or Southern Breakwater must be either a "PIER MEMBER" or a "FULL MEMBER" of Dover Sea Angling Association. 

Due to the severe damage that is often caused to both Piers during the winter storms, extensive repairs are often necessary in order to comply with the Health and Safety Regulators.  The introduction of the Pier Membership and occasional increase in Pier Tolls go some some way to funding the regular repairs.  Any increase is not taken lightly but I hope you will agree that it is essential that we keep the best fishing marks in England open and safe for the angler.

Membership prices are currently as follows:  "Pier Membership" will be £6 for Adults or £3 (unchanged) for Juniors and Senior Citizens, payable on the first visit. "Pier Members" are issued with a membership card which is valid for a full 12 months from the date of issue. Showing this card to the Pier Patrolman on subsequent trips to either the Admiralty Pier or Southern Breakwater will entitle "Pier Members" to purchase session tickets of £5 and £4 respectively. "FULL MEMBERSHIP" now costs £15 per year for Individuals, £16 for Joint Membership, £7.50 for Senior Citizen Membership over 65, £8.50 for Joint Senior Citizen Membership over 65, and for those of you over the age of 70 with five years previous Membership, your fee is now FREE! In addition to the full use of the Clubhouse facilities, "Full Members" pay a reduced session fee of £3 for Adults and £2.50 for Senior Citizens/Juniors. On your first visit, the payment of your "Pier Membership" also includes your session ticket.

Opening Times:

The Breakwater can also be hired out for Private Parties at anytime by prior arrangement.  There is a minimum requirement of either £100 for the session, or £10 per head if more than 10 in the party.  This does not cover the boat fare.  Please contact the Clubhouse for further information and bookings.
